Liberty Street
This kitchen in a turn of the century arts and crafts home was restored and rejuvenated with restoration of the original cabinets, addition of complementary new cabinets, and glorious granite counters, with the original laundry chute preserved in place. The bold color scheme we chose made the old floors look good again; the layout, lighting and materials brought new life to the space.
Craftsman Kitchen
One of the Kitchen designs featured in “Kitchens for the Rest of Us”, this beauty was custom designed by Thunder Mill and built for a busy household and features gorgeous craftsman-style cherry cabinets built on site which complement the new windows and playful pendant lights. The design is a great compliment to the architectural style of the house.
Elegant Bath
A truly spectacular renovation of a master bath which includes: granite paneled walls, a custom curved granite counter top in a honed finish with a custom designed vanity, plus lighted mirrors, radiant heated floors, a frosted glass closet door, and a color scheme that is just plain handsome! We are very proud of this redesign.
Dwelly Point
This kitchen was designed to be the center of the house, literally. It connects to every space on the main floor and Thunder Mill designed an island to fit its exalted position in the home. This was one of the more important items on the client’s initial wish list. Inspired.
Middlesex Kitchen
The culinary creativity of these clients inspired the design for this homey kitchen – a design meant to be lived in and loved. From the butternut cabinets to the Vermont soapstone, this kitchen (published in “Kitchens for the Rest of Us”) is a special home-spun space for our clients and their friends who gather here.
Country Bath
The light streams in and the breezes blow in this wonderfully refreshed bathroom with all new finishes and fixtures chosen,designed and built by Thunder Mill Design. The colors come together in perfect harmony with grace and personality.
